Managing Director
Sharon Ioannidis joined Hamlin Capital Advisors in January of 2016 as a managing director. She has extensive experience in providing tax-exempt and taxable financing solutions for not-for-profit senior living and healthcare institutions. These financings have utilized a wide range of structures, including unrated and investment grade rated public bonds, draw down bonds, direct bank placements and other private placements.
Sharon began her career as a CPA with Arthur Andersen LLP in the Washington, D.C. area providing tax structuring advisory services for healthcare and high technology institutions in the area. After pursuing her MBA, she began her investment banking career with Citigroup in New York City focusing on non-recourse financings. Before joining Hamlin Capital Advisors, she spent the prior ten years with Raymond James & Associates concentrating on financings for not-for-profit senior living and healthcare entities.
Sharon received her M.B.A from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business and her B.S. and Master of Accounting degrees from the University of Florida with high honors.
