Hamlin Capital Advisors announced today that Michael Braun has joined the firm to further develop and expand their growing business in the Charter School industry. Michael Braun comes to the firm with a wealth of experience within the industry, having spent the last ten years at Ziegler Capital Markets Group where he was instrumental in growing Ziegler’s origination and banking group to the #1 overall ranking in Charter School debt volume in 2011 and 2012.
Mr. Braun joins Hamlin Capital Advisors with 14 years of investment banking experience, and he served as lead banker on more than $600 million dollars of debt issuance for charter schools.

Michael will be based out of Ohio, but will be working through the firm’s Tampa office. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Ohio State University.
